The doctor will spend approximately 30-45 minutes with each patient in order to determine the precise cause of your problem. During this consultation, a history and examination will be taken and performed. This examination will consist of neurological and orthopedic procedures. Specialized functional assessments such as gait analysis; postural analysis, muscle testing and functional biomechanics will also be incorporated into the analysis. Depending on the patient's presentation, a radiological exam may be necessary for the doctors to rule out any pathology.
Each patient will then have a detailed explanation of all findings and the importance of the findings. It is at this point that the doctor will notify the patient if the clinic will be able to help their chief complaint, or if it will be better managed by referral. Physical exam findings and interpretation by the doctor will dictate the treatment protocol. The treatment may consist of but is not limited to spinal manipulation, massage therapy, therapeutic exercise, acupuncture, self-treatment advice, therapeutic modalities, nutritional and rehabilitation protocols.
On your first visit, the doctor will discuss with you your individualized and specific treatment plan. This will serve as an explanation and what to expect during your recovery. Short and long term goals will be discussed along with any other questions that may arise.
Our clinic offers a variety of treatment methods. Chiropractic Healthcare, Physical therapy, injury treatment and prevention, and nutritional advices are available.

Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy/Spinal Manipulation or "adjustment" refers to gentle pressure or a high-velocity low-amplitude thrust to help restore function and motion to a joint that has become restricted. The manipulation also stimulates the nervous system to help reduce pain and relax local musculature. The noise that can be heard with an adjustment is that of release of nitrogen gas from a joint capsule. It has been researched and documented that motion is restored following an adjustment but no bones are moved for this to happen. There have been many studies that have proven its effectiveness, safety, and high levels of patient satisfaction. As a result, in 1994 the U.S. Agency for Health Care Policy and Research published this technique as a gold standard for low back pain. Since then more research has been done on neck pain, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, infantile colic and rehabilitation, all supporting the role of Chiropractic and its manipulative procedures.
The myofascial release approach is a form of soft tissue therapy used to treat somatic dysfunction and resulting pain and restriction of motion. MORE TEXT NEEDED
The McKenzie Method, also known as Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) is an approach that is trusted and used by practitioners and patients worldwide for common problems of the back and neck.
When a person suffers an injury or a debilitating disease, he often has to relearn how to walk. This process is called gait training. We become a guide and a resource for the person relearning how to do basic movements. We use many different techniques and tools to help patients quickly and safely recover their mobility.
We work with athletes to maximize their potential, meet their sports performance goals, and reduce their risk of injury. We accomplish this by designing integrated sports regimens that include flexibility training, cardiorespiratory training, core training, balance training, speed, quickness, and agility, integrated multiplanar resistance training, and sport specific conditioning.
At Apex Therapy, we approach your care in a unique manner. At the beginning of your treatment, we will fully examine your joints and perform a comprehensive muscle strength test on all of your major muscle groups. In addition, we will assess your gait (the way you walk) and your feet. Using this information, we will locate any biomechanical abnormalities and correct them. We use gentle muscle techniques and therapeutic exercises to correct these imbalances.
